What's next...

Ok, so usually I don't know jack shizzle about my upcoming fights until I get there. I keep myself focused on the actual fight at hand by not letting myself get bogged down with the logistics, and I keep my mind willing to adapt and free from assumptions by not getting bogged down with the specifics of my opponent's style."See things for what they are and not for what they should be." - Grand Master Fagn 2002. But now that this blog is out there it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to not post something about it. Besides, its probably a good idea to keep things as documented as possible after what happened with my last fight. So anyway... here we go. (FYI: this is probably just gonna degenerate into me reading what I see off of the poster and relaying it back to you guys verbatim)

My next fight will be on the 26th of this month in Vegas at the Las Vegas Hilton, apparently. ...My opponent's name seems to be Bryce Krauss. It's promoted by Denis Warner and its going to be full muay thai rules. *what else do you people want from me?* ...Doors open at 7:30...

Honestly, half the time I only find out my opponent's name after the fight. (word of advice: if you follow my method don't ASK the guy his name after the fight... especially if you win. makes you look like the hugest douche bag and you'll never have time to explain)

If anybody's planning to be in Vegas (or if you really DO want to see me fight and are willing to take a trip to see me.... ) Feel free to come out and show your support. I wouldn't mind seeing some familiar faces willing to buy me alcohol after my fight. Any other info you need, you can get it from the poster, cause as of now... i guarantee you I don't know. The most important thing you can get from the poster, however, is a lesson that can be learned from looking closely at the picture of me: Don't ever let Khunpon take your fight poster picture in a spare room of his house at 11:00pm with his wife's camera. ...No matter how cool he tells you it will look.

With regards to asking your opponent's name after a fight.... looking like an ass... how about when your opponent comes over to you after the fight and you have no idea who she is? You politely ask her name and try to find out if she is a fighter or a spectator. Yeah. Embarrassing. Then you notice she still has a little residual blood around the nose from getting punched by you. Could you be a bigger ass? In desperation all you can do is claim that she's so pretty that she looks totally different and that's why you didn't recognize her. And that you are stupid from getting punched in the head a lot. Read my blog for more incredibly awkward moments.
